America - A Country In Need
Many of the founders of this country were deep thinking, God-fearing men and women. If you read the “founding documents,” there is clear evidence that these men and women respected and feared God. Too many modern-day historians are attempting to cover-up the true spiritual roots of this nation, yet any credible researcher would have to admit that Judeo-Christian principles were deeply embedded in the fabric of this nation and her laws from Day-1. The “fathers” believed that in order to succeed, they would have to be guided by the hand of God. Sadly today, we are watching the spiritual foundations of our country being demolished by arrogant humans who are bent on changing many of the “boundaries” and “beliefs” that made this country great. In what ways is our country needy?

Beware of Resentment
We’ve all been there haven’t we? We know that lingering feeling of displeasure or bitterness that stems from an incident, real or perceived, that is viewed as being wrong, unfair, or hurtful. The operative word is “lingering.” We all get hurt and feel angry in the daily course of life. This is unavoidable and normal. BUT…what is sad, sick, and sinful is to allow our hurt and anger TO LINGER and become an emotional and spiritual cancer that kills from within. It’s okay and healthy “to feel anger,” but it is not okay and healthy “to keep on feeling bitterness and anger.” That’s what “resentment” is!

Bible 101
Fundamental truths about the Bible are not being taught in many places today. And, fundamental truths about the Bible are being forgotten by some who once embraced them. It’s time for Christians to be bold—kind but bold. In our daily walk, we need to fearlessly let it be known that we stand by our beliefs and convictions on the basis of our confidence in the Bible as the inspired and authoritative Word of God.

Whatever Happened To Lying?
Everybody says that lying is wrong, but based on our behavior, it appears that most of us believe that lying is necessary in awkward situations and tight spots. Oh, and we’ve learned how to soften the blow of admitting that we have lied. Have you heard these words? “I didn’t actually lie. I just misspoke. I misplaced some words.” We don’t lie; we just spin the truth to our own selfish advantage. Lying is wrong, but it has become fashionable to engage in strategic misrepresentation and reality augmentation. In this study, we explore what the Bible says about lying and we look at some of the common ways to tell lies.

Will the Real Disciple Stand Up!
In today’s religious culture, we’ve made Christian discipleship really easy and convenient. Easy believism gets you in! No sacrifices. No hardships. No challenges. Involvement in a local church is very similar to going to a movie theater. A little money. A little time. Lots of parking. Comfortable sits. Tasty refreshments. Good entertainment. Watch the show. Go home. Come back for the next showing. We do it all for you! Maybe we need to take another look at what Jesus, the Master, said about real discipleship. That’s what this lesson is all about.

His Tomb Is Empty
Christianity stands or falls on the tomb of Jesus! If His tomb is empty, then Christianity is full—full of truth and power. If Jesus’ tomb is full today—still containing His remains—then Christianity is empty and meaningless. It all comes down to His tomb—is it empty or full. In this lesson, we explore the powerful implications of the empty tomb. His resurrection means “the death of death!”
